Journey Property Inspections was established in 2008 with the mission of educating and protecting property buyers in Southeast Michigan continues as our driving force.
We understand the needs of today's home buyer and use cutting-edge technology to bring you the most comprehensive inspection results possible. Our Inspectors have conducted thousands of inspections and are trained to be familiar with a wide variety of situations. We will evaluate the prospective home keeping in mind FHA, RDA, and V.A. loan standards. Journey Property Inspections believes that consumers have the right to expect the highest standards of thoroughness, fairness, and effectiveness from their home inspector. We build our reputation one inspection at a time to ensure you get the quality service that you expect and deserve. Journey Property Inspection is a member of the Lenawee County Association of Realtors, Ann Arbor Area Realtors, Southeast Border Association of Realtors and the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce.

Emily Burnett
Emily Burnett is an AHIT certified home inspector and holds a BAA from Central Michigan University. Prior to her time at JPI as a home inspector, Emily had a 10+ year career in social work. At JPI, Emily oversees business operations and works hard to educate her clients about their new homes in a way that's easy to understand, empathetic, and stress-free.

Anton Britting
Anton Britting is an AHIT-certified Home Inspector and an NHIE graduate. Anton also holds a BSc in Biology from Western Michigan University. Before joining JPI, Anton worked in automation for a Ford Motor Company subsidiary. At JPI, Anton passionately provides thorough and informed home inspections for his clients.

Deb Dusseau
Deb Dusseau attended Washtenaw Community Nursing School, after which she worked as a nurse for 25 years. Deb has owned her own Bridal business for 10+ years. As JPI's longstanding customer care specialist, Deb creates environments that make each client feel comfortable and reassured throughout the home inspection process.

Cindy Burnett
Cynthia “Cindy” Burnett attended college in Adrian, MI at Siena Heights University, where she obtained a Sociology degree. Before founding JPI, Cindy had an extensive career in elementary school education. Cindy is a dedicated leader with outstanding organizational skills and customer care expertise!
FOUNDER
Steve Burnett
Steve Burnett holds Home Inspection certifications from NAHI, ASHI and NHIEB. Additionally, Steve has a BSME degree from Trine University and an MBA degree from Ball State University. Besides being a qualified Home Inspector and a founder of JPI, Steve is a certified Instructor for the CE Real Estate Market Place of Michigan.
